· Operational checker for Account opening, Account closing and all Account services (for both Consumer and Wholesale)
· External Auditor responsibilities on Quality achieved by the offshore team.
· Client due diligence (CDD) operational responsibilities as defined by the Global Standards program.
· Support the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard program.
· Provide Governance and Operational Support to daily Operations for both onshore and off shore teams.
· Identify Streamlining opportunities, cost saving opportunities and support Business transformation programs.
· Support implementation and embedding of all new Business Product Procedures and Regulatory requirements.
· Support Global Regional and Country initiatives. Support the “IDEA” initiative.
· Support Control monitoring where required and ensure all shortfalls are remediated within agreed time frames.
· Coordinating the preparation and validation of the Management information and reporting to Country and Region.
· To maintain HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
· Ensure adherence to Internal Procedures and regulatory framework at all times.
