GENERAL DUTIES :
Provision of quality teaching to students
Responsibility for areas of work and development of curricula
Setting of examination questions and preparation of marking schemes
Invigilation of examinations
Submitting of marked scripts and results on time
Marking of examination scripts
Supervision of students’ project work
Offering academic counselling to students
Conducting academic research and publication of research work
Initiating and coordinating staff and student based projects
Assisting in the administration of the department, including conduct of examination, and preparation of time table
Arrangement and supervision of students’ industrial visits
Serve on Statutory Committees, e.g. Senate and its sub-committees
Supervise students activities in workshops/laboratories
Responsible for preparation and control of research and innovation budget under the lecturer initiative
Assist in the preparation of departmental budget
Managing the assets e.g. computers, files, furniture, cabinets etc. under the control of this office
Embarking on extension and community service for the Presbyterian University College and beyond.
Preparation of course and teaching plans/outlines for students
Organization of mid-stream course seminars and presentations for student
Working Experience: 5 - 10 Years
Education: Masters Degree
