Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and creative Digital Marketing and Content Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in building and executing our digital presence while ensuring excellent engagement with our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, social media, and content creation and be eager to contribute to the growth of our brand.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing:
1. Research and Outreach
• Research and compile a list of businesses in the Ottawa area for outreach opportunities.
• Follow target businesses on social media using our company accounts.

2. Social Media Management:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media plan.
• Create and schedule engaging posts across platforms to build brand awareness.
• Monitor social media accounts and interact with followers to increase engagement.

3. SEO and Keyword Research:
• Conduct keyword research to identify target phrases for blogs and website optimization.
• Analyze competitors' blogs and recommend content ideas to improve our SEO.

Content Creation:
4. Blogging:
• Research, write, and edit blog posts to align with our brand voice and SEO strategy.
• Post blogs on our website and optimize them for search engines.

5. Creative Content:
• Design visual content (graphics, images) for social media and website use.

Client Engagement and Administration

6. Client Communication
• Answer incoming calls and address client inquiries professionally.
• Send out emails to clients and monitor sales email accounts for leads and inquiries.
• Respond to chat inquiries from the website in a timely manner.

7. Administrative Support
• Track and document client interactions to ensure seamless communication.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest).
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred Skills
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights).
