Job Presentation

Responsibilities

Market Analysis: Investigate market conditions to identify potential suppliers of electrical materials and assess their specifications and performance requirements.

Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and delivery standards.

Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers to achieve favorable conditions for the organization.

Purchase Orders: Issue purchase orders based on approved requisitions, track orders, and expedite deliveries as necessary.

Quality Assurance: Oversee inspections of received materials to ensure they meet the specified quality standards before acceptance.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to prevent shortages or excesses.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier interactions, and contract agreements for compliance and auditing purposes.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., engineering, project management) to align procurement activities with project requirements.

Cost Analysis: Prepare budgets and conduct cost analyses to optimize procurement strategies and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Education Required: Bachelor’s / HND
