Job Presentation
The Transport Coordinator has the primary responsibility of ensuring that our organization delivers reliability and value to customers through operational excellence and seamless coordination with all internal and external stakeholders. He is the main coordinator of the physical operations execution of Middle mile/distribution based on agreed SLAs with customers in addition to documentation preparation for billing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive customer forecasts or projections and landside transportation instructions for dispatch or delivery planning.
• Organize and assign resources based on customer requests.
• Monitor and communicate with drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Anticipate and mitigate operational challenges to prevent service delivery failures.
• Maximize truck productivity and utilization while minimizing idle time.
• Prepare data for billing and ensure timely receipt of signed proof of delivery (POD) documents.
• Maintain accurate archives of documentation.
• Report incidents during operations and escalate as required.
• Ensure timely and complete deliveries according to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Optimize loads and routes to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) guidelines related to operations
Salary Range: 3000-3500

Working Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Education: First Degree
Requirements
  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Shipping, Transport, or Logistics or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in shipping, transport or logistics
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Candidate must reside in Kumasi and or Takoradi.
  • Proficient in English and fluent in French.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. NB: Ideal candidates must reside in Kumasi and or Takoradi
