ABOUT THE ROLEThe incumbent shall be responsible for fully testing products to ensure it functions properly and meets the business needs as well as ensuring the smooth functioning and running of shop activities and following standard operating procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Testing all aspects of the product to ensure it functions properly before component is sold
Work with procurement team to identify and capture issues with products and to be communicated with the vendors.
Providing feedback on usability and serviceability of the products to customers
Assembling components
Greeting and assisting customers to find the goods and products they are looking for
Assisting customers on the phone
Responding promptly to inquiries and assist with providing responses to technical questions from customers.
Monitoring and requesting stock
Balancing cash book
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Keep proper and accurate records for approved creditors
Keeping the store and shop floor tidy and clean
Attaching and updating price tags to merchandise on the shop floor
Receive and inspect all incoming materials to the store and reconcile with stock request and waybill
Perform monthly stock taking and reconciling with ERP with supervision from the Retail Supervisor
Packaging and labeling products before they are dispatched
Arrange and label products in the store room for easy identification and accessibility
Maintaining ISO documentation and Record Keeping
Perform any other duties as assigned
OHSE RESPONSIBILITIESKnowledge of and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures
Follow all safe work procedures, rules, and instructions
Risk Assessment
Hazard identification and reporting
Knowledge on the safe use of all tools and equipment as applicable
Education Required: HND
