Our client, a manufacturing company is looking for a proactive, dynamic and analytic individual to hire for the position of Warehouse Chief.
ROLE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will coordinate various warehouse duties, control the supply chain of the company’s products, and assist other team members in achieving the company’s goals and visions. He/she will play a vital role in the construction and operational phase of the company’s facility in addition to performing the following duties;
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise warehouse environment, coordinate logistical processes and ensure that other employees in the warehouse environment are accountable.
Manage warehouse activities in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.
Ensure detailed records of daily warehouse activities are recorded for accuracy.
Manage warehouse staff and inventory levels to ensure that the warehouse runs smoothly.
Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
Oversee the effective and safe use of warehouse equipment to ensure staff safety in the work environment.
Perform general maintenance of machinery used in warehouse operations.
Train warehouse staff to ensure that the warehouse staff is updated about the company’s policies.
Communicate with warehouse team members to ensure timely task completion.
Working Experience: 5 - 10 Years
Education: Higher National Diploma

Requirements
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of an HND or a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or any related field.
- Experience with construction materials particularly in steel structure environments is a significant advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Logistics Management or Warehouse Management.
- Knowledge of Turkish is a plus but not necessary.REQUIREMENTS
- A high standard of trustworthiness is essential.
- Proficiency in computer usage particularly Excel. Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems would be highly beneficial.
- Must have a broad understanding of warehouse systems including inventory management, asset tracking, segregation, distribution and minimum stock level management.
- Must be adaptable to flexible hours and a strong team player.
- Must have effective communication skills across departments such as the procurement and project management departments.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Candidates should be interested in a long-term role within the organisation.
