Position: Preschool Teacher
Job Description:We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning, play, and discovery. The ideal candidate must have a deep commitment to early childhood education and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning, play, and discovery
Observe and assess children's development and progress, and document observations and assessments
Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and provide guidance on how to support their child's development at home
Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to support children's development and well-being
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom and playground
Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Approved teaching certification for preschool education (National Nursery Teachers certification or similar)
5 years of experience teaching in a preschool setting
Experience in Montessori curriculum will be an advantage

Skills & Knowledge:
Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education,
Strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills
Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues
Ability to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children
Ability to create a safe, clean, and organised learning environment
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
Ability to assess children's progress and document observations and assessments
Ability to use technology, such as computers and educational software, in the classroom
Ability to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
