Roles and Responsibilities

  • Installation of telecommunication cables
  • Maintenance and servicing of telecommunications systems and cables
  • Routine works to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs customer and network troubles. Removes and replaces defective modules, track spares and ensures repair
  • Locate faults and mobilize resources within minimal time to counter the fault
  • Carrying out of quality inspection of installation works
  • Documentation / report generation of work done.


    • Education Required: Diploma/First degree

    Requirements
    • Both experienced and new Engineers with degrees and diplomas from recognized institutions are invited to apply.
    • First Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications or Engineering with 2 Years’ experience
    • Fiber Optic Splicing & Terminating Experience
    • Good knowledge of using Fiber Optic troubleshooting tools like OTDR, Mass Fusion Splicing, etc. is an added advantage.
    • Fast learner and detail oriented
    • Analytical thinking skills
    • Customer service skills
    • Ability to adapt and work in challenging situations
    • Applicants must have a valid driver’s license
