Review Receipt

Hello
My wife was at Iran clinic on Friday February 21,2020. After she met the doctor for examinations and test, she had a prescription and some medicines was later dispensed to her. I asked her if she had any sorts of receipts from the hospital to proved it to me that she was actually at the hospital, however she said to me she handed the receipt to the pharmacy and any receipt given to a pharmacist does not return back to the patient I was kinda skeptical about what she said to me. I would like to know does a patient get a receipt after seeing a doctor and taking a prescription drugs from the pharmacy?
