Objective of the positionTo support policy advocacy communication and promote SEND GHANA’S programs. This position is a great opportunity if you are interested in development issues, particularly, communication of policy research advocacy to a wider audience, through a variety of channels, including policy briefs, public events, and traditional (TV, radio, print, electronic) and social media. Duties and responsibilitiesThe Communication Officer is responsible for the overall planning, intensification and organization of SEND GHANA’s communication and outreach activities. This includes but not limited to:Planning, editing, and supporting the publication of the Citizens Watch quarterly newsletter, success stories, policy briefs, and research reports.
Planning media information and communications materials.
Assisting in creating online content (website, newsletter, social media)
Serve as media advisor to the programme team.
Assisting in planning, organizing and managing events to support advocacy activities.
Planning and conducting media relationship-building
Strengthen media partnerships for optimization of organizational goals
Timely completion of annual reports
