Job Summary
The Sales Representative will play a key role in identifying potential clients, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the expansion of our customer base within the shipping and logistics industry. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting clients regularly, and maintaining a strong physical presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify potential clients, establish connections, and expand the client base for the company’s shipping and logistics services.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in fieldwork, meet clients, and ensure continuous presence in the market to promote company services.
  • Prepare accurate and timely daily reports detailing activities, client interactions, and market insights. Submit reports on schedule and maintain clear communication with the management team.
  • Work closely with the General Manager, providing regular updates and insights from the field to support strategic decision-making.
  • Report to the office on time from Monday to Saturday as per the company’s schedule, contributing to team meetings and discussions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3 years of sales experience within the shipping and logistics sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and experience with CRM software is an advantage.
  • High level of professionalism and a proactive approach to meeting sales targets.

Work Conditions

  • Location: Primarily field-based with office reporting.
  • Schedule: Monday – Saturday; standard office hours.
