  • As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive the company’s market presence.

    Position Overview
    The Head of Marketing will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to support DGL’s growth. This role requires high-level strategic planning, leadership in brand management, and oversight of both digital and offline marketing efforts. You will also lead product marketing initiatives, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams such as sales, procurement, and operations to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns that contribute directly to revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities
    Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute DGL’s overall marketing strategy to drive growth and brand awareness.
  • Brand Leadership:

  • Manage and strengthen DGL’s brand identity across all platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual style, and tone.
  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, promoting a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Product Marketing & Campaigns:

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new products, including positioning, messaging, and executing campaigns to ensure successful launches.
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media:

  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and website management, ensuring effective engagement and brand presence.
  • Customer Insights & Market Research:

  • Leverage market data and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies, anticipate trends, and address customer needs.
  • Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales teams, partners, and external stakeholders to enhance marketing initiatives, driving lead generation, conversions, and customer satisfaction.
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) Implementation:

  • Implement and maintain the NPS system to assess customer satisfaction and drive brand loyalty and retention.
  • Budget Management:

  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to deliver optimal return on investment (ROI).
  • Public Relations & Communications:

  • Build and manage relationships with media outlets, agencies, and industry bodies to maximize positive brand exposure and thought leadership.
  • Sustainability Focus:

  • Champion DGL’s commitment to sustainability and position the company as a leader in promoting sustainable agriculture practices in Ghana.

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

    Requirements
    • Qualifications
    • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Proven leadership experience in marketing with strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.
    • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and CRM tools.
    • Experience in the agricultural sector is an advantage but not mandatory.
    • Skills or ExperienceExperience
    • You have 8–10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the agricultural, FMCG, or B2B sectors. You have a proven record of success in crafting and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and enhance brand equity.
    • Leadership & Communication:
    • You have strong leadership skills and can inspire, guide, and mentor teams.
    • Your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating complex strategies into actionable plans.
    • Strategic Vision & Creativity:
    • You bring both strategic vision and creativity to the role, capable of developing long-term strategies while driving innovative campaign designs.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • You are experienced in using data to make informed marketing decisions and have familiarity with analytics tools, CRM systems, and customer feedback mechanisms such as NPS.
    • Adaptability & Initiative:
    • You excel in fast-paced environments, adapting to changing market conditions and customer needs. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
