Job Presentation
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inbound Inventory Officer to manage the receipt and organization of incoming stock and ensure our inventory records are accurately maintained. Job Summary: The Inbound Inventory Officer is responsible for managing the receiving, recording, and organization of inbound inventory. This role ensures that all incoming goods are properly inspected, documented, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Inbound Inventory Officer plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the receiving of inbound goods and verify the quantity and quality of stock against delivery documentation (e.g., invoices, purchase orders). Ensure that all incoming inventory is properly labeled, stored, and organized in the warehouse. Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system. Coordinate with the procurement team to confirm delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies or issues with suppliers. Conduct regular cycle counts and stock checks to ensure the accuracy of inbound inventory. Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth and efficient receiving operations. Communicate with suppliers and logistics partners to track incoming shipments and handle any delays or issues. Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical inventory and inventory records. Ensure that the receiving area is organized, clean, and complies with health and safety standards. Support internal audits and assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures.

Working Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Education: First Degree
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in supply chain management or logistics is a plus.1-2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics, preferably in an inbound inventory role.Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other similar systems).Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory documentation.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and structured warehouse environment.Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for inventory tracking and reporting.Physical ability to lift and move stock as needed.
