Our client is a leading player in the FMCG sector, dedicated to delivering high-quality consumer goods to our customers. We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to oversee and optimize our production operations. Job Summary: The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day production operations to ensure the timely manufacture of high-quality products. This role involves overseeing production teams, maintaining efficient production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and collaborating with various departments to meet production targets. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts and ensure optimal use of resources. Ensure that production processes comply with industry standards and quality control measures. Supervise and lead production teams, including training, performance management, and resource allocation. Work closely with the procurement, supply chain, and quality control teams to ensure raw materials and finished products meet specifications. Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize productivity. Develop and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies to maintain a safe workplace. Track and report on key production metrics such as yield, efficiency, downtime, and costs. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all production machinery is regularly serviced and operating efficiently. Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing production efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality. Manage production budgets and work towards cost reduction without compromising quality. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance production processes.
