Job Presentation
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic General Manager (Finance and Administration) to join our leadership team. As a key member of our management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial and administrative functions of the organization, driving financial growth, and ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Keeping proper accounting records of all monetary transactions and preparing draft financial statements for the attention of the External Auditors.* Exercising effective controls over cash, inventory at stores and cash.* Advising management on the right sources and effective and efficient uses of funds.* Leading the preparation of the annual budget and advising management on the treatment of variances resulting from comparing actual operational figures and budgeted figures.* Ensuring that the appointment of staff for the Group, their promotion, discipline and welfare are consistent with the Group's employment policy.* Preparation of an Operating Manual for the Group.* Ensuring the implementation of and maintenance of a robust payroll system.* Implementing a training program that will be consistent with the Group's core value of excellence.* Institute an effective motivation policy based on a clear identification of staff responsibilities, recognition and rewards. * Provision of timely reports for management on the duties described above.

Working Experience: 5 - 10 Years

Education: First Degree
Requirements
  • * A degree in Administration with a Finance/Accounting or Management bias from any recognized tertiary institution. An additional qualification such as an MBA in Finance/Accounting or Management would be an advantage.* Five or more years working experience in a similar role in any reputable organization.* Ability to deal with external institutions such as external Auditing firms, the IRS and banking institutions.* Applicant should not be less than thirty years of age .However, this requirement can be mitigated by good performance at the interview * Team player with excellent interpersonal skills * Independent thinker who does not work under supervision.* Ability to deliver on target * Salary is negotiable based on qualification and experience .
