DH Industries Ltd is a manufacturing and distribution company in the FMCG sector. We are currently seeking logistics Officer for our Supply Chain Department. The logistics officer is responsible for supervising and managing drivers, and the distribution and transportation of goods to customers. He is also responsible for fleet/trucks/cars documentation and maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the receiving and processing of sales orders for sales agents and other customers. (e.g., cash orders, credit orders and sales commission orders)
Coordinating with logistics manager and sales team to ensure that goods ordered are delivered on time and in the same quantities as ordered.
Coordinating with warehouse to ensure that goods ordered are loaded on time and in the same quantities as stated on the waybill.
Follow up with the delivery drivers to ensure that the goods are delivered as per the order requested on the waybill.
Check to ensure the preparation of waybills and proforma invoices for each sales order.
Follow up with the accounts department to ensure that the VAT invoices for all sales orders are issued together with the waybills and proforma invoices before dispatching the drivers.
Coordinate with the sales accountants to ensure that all documents prepared for a particular approved order is sent to them for proper capturing and entries.
Coordinate with the drivers and sales agents to ensure that the ordered goods are supplied to the right customers as per the proforma and waybills.
Coordinate with the transporter to arrange for rented trucks to transport approved sales orders taking into consideration the weight and tonnage of the goods and the truck.
Keeping track of the general customer base i.e. (Names, Sectors, locations).
Monitor to ensure that the delivery drivers return the signed documents accompanying the sales orders from the customers and sales agents. (i.e., the signed waybills, proforma and VAT invoices).
Monitor to ensure that goods returned by the delivery drivers are properly received and documented.
Working Experience: 1 - 3 Years
Education: Higher National Diploma

Requirements
- Qualification & experience
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply chain management or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply chain management.
- Should be between the ages of 26 – 40 years.
- Good command of the English Language both speaking and writing.
- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Should possess good leadership skills.
