EQWIP HUBs - Tamale, Ghana

EQWIP Hubs is a global network of 17 innovation spaces (‘HUBs’) in developing urban centers in Bolivia, Ghana, Indonesia, Peru, Senegal and Tanzania that connect and transform the economic trajectory of youth. Powered by two of Canada’s leading global youth development organizations, Canada World Youth and Youth Challenge International, and a network of global collaborators, EQWIP Hubs provides a platform for youth to advance their meaningful employment through market-driven work skills and entrepreneurship incubators. EQWIP Hubs Ghana is a project that is currently being implemented in Accra and Tamale. Tamale while facilitating training programs to various educational institutions. Whilst tracking the livelihood issues that confront young people, the plan is to also mainstream issues relating to gender, among many others.
