Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) - Accra

The taxi drivers at Amasaman taxi rank near the post office always rush in their numbers to support their members who run into other vehicles at the junction demanding peoples cars. They make it impossible to resolve the issues and prevent the owner of the damaged vehicle to report the case to the police.
And when reports are made to the MTTU Officials at Amasaman Police station and the police go to ask ths CHAIRMAN of the union he tells the police that the driver involved is not a member at his station. And that ends it.
The CHAIRMAN in so doing makes it impossible for the police to locate the driver for investigation.
This just happened to me on Sunday 22nd December 2019. Pls kindly investigate this matter for it has been happening always. And culprits have never been arrested.

Ashalle botwe drivers are charging more then what GPRTU has given. why??

Ashaiman GPRTU is conniving with drivers charge more than the usual fares. Passengers are now paying for the extra seat the government asked to take out due to the Covid.
Ashaiman to Madiha is now 8GH. Why????
