I was told to pay extension of staying fee for my Son when he visited my family in Ghana.first,Ghana immigration in Kumasi took 400ghc from my mum jux for one year stamp they will put in his passport, the following year we paid, again told my mum to go to court, needs bank statement, affidavit of support, letter from me and a whole lot.my mum started the process she don't even know what she was doing and the request became too much she couldn't finish the court process.now the extension permit is 10ghc a month,my son's one expires 12/01/16.my son will be coming back to u.s the following month,my mum went to extend one more month staying, the immigration woman is requesting for 500ghc and another court process which I don't think my son or mum needs it anyway since he is coming back soon.they refuse to do it for my mum because my mum couldn't afford their amount and they were very arrogant, even refuse to give my mum receipt of all these payments.am shock I plead with GIS to do something about these corruption going on at your office.now when we travel is hard to being your child back home to know their parents motherland.thank you
