Review Trip to the North

had a smooth sail from Akosombo to the North . weather was a bit unfavorable in December,2019 but we sailed through . kudos to VLTC and its captains. early hours before trip we had to relax at the company's premises. drinks and food is provided. cabins are neat and they are fully airconditioned. The landing stage is also good. its designed such that cars and trucks can easily drive unto the barge. cabins are also neat and clean. the crew are loving and fun too. it takes 3 days to get to Buipe from Akosombo . We have the privilege to snap pictures and ask questions if the need be. it seems the sound of the engine and propeller scare the fishes away . unlike a cruise ship whereby sometimes dolphins and other animals swim after the ship. that also takes the fun out of the trip.
