Review of JobHouse Recruitment Agency (Ghana)

Jobhouse was prompt in giving information ahead of time (about a week) concerning my invitation. this was helpful in enabling me prepare adequately for the interviews. However, in situations where initial interview dates were subsequently postponed, the re-scheduling was communicated rather very late. The information for the re-scheduling of the final interview at the SADA offices in Tamale for instance came in less that 24hours to the proposed date and time.

There was no communication on logistic arrangements by Job House or SADA throughout the invitation process. it is important that such information be provided to invited applicants to help the applicants own organization and logistics planning prior to the interview. This is more important, especially in the second interview in Tamale where I had to travel from Accra to Tamale on the morning f the interview. whether such arrangements have been made or budgeted for or not, this should be communicated to candidates as part of the invitation.

it is also important to schedule the shortlisted candidates for different times of the day. In the second and final interview in Tamale for instance, I had to wait for almost five (5) hours before it got to my turn. I think that such long wait could affect the performance of candidates.
