REPORT TO: Assistant General Manager-Operations
Comply with the hotel's mission and standards in all maintenance activities.
Maximize the maintenance team's performance with a balanced focus on operations, guest, employee, and owner satisfaction.
Represent the maintenance department in daily HOD meetings.
Plan, schedule, assign, and supervise the Facilities and Maintenance department staff.
Oversee maintenance tasks, work orders, and special projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Respond promptly to guests' maintenance needs, delivering professional and courteous service.
Maintain the hotel’s physical, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Install and maintain equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, water treatment, and fire safety.
Ensure accurate records for all plant and equipment, including repair and service logs.
Prepare and submit required reports to the Assistant General Manager(Operations).
Maintain adequate stock levels of materials, equipment, and tools in a clean and safe environment.
Ensure cleanliness and safety in all plant and mechanical equipment rooms.
Conduct daily and weekly property inspections, ensuring all areas meet safety and operational standards.
Provide training for staff on maintenance procedures, supplies, and inventory management.
Monitor and maintain emergency systems like fire alarms, CCTV, and baggage/vehicle scanners.
Collaborate with GM, owners, and department heads on maintenance and inspection reports.
Develop and implement energy conservation programs to reduce costs.
Ensure maintenance staff adheres to grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards.
Uphold quality service standards while achieving financial goals and managing day-to-day operations.

- Qualifications/Skills
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems) are a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of building management and engineering practices.
- Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a hotel.
