Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a car rental company. This role ensures efficient management of bookings, drop-offs, and pick-ups, supervises drivers and staff, and maintains excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Coordinate daily bookings, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
Monitor fleet availability and assign vehicles based on customer requirements.
Oversee the cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness of vehicles for rental.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures for operations.
Team Supervision:
Supervise and manage the team of drivers and rental staff.
Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing for operational needs.
Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing development for existing employees.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or corrective actions as needed.
Customer Service:
Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing concerns effectively.
Gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Logistics Coordination:
Plan and optimize routes for drivers to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Track vehicle locations and manage dispatch schedules using GPS or fleet management software.
Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations related to transportation.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of bookings, vehicle assignments, and fuel usage.
Prepare operational reports for management, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
Monitor budgetary expenses related to vehicle maintenance, fuel, and staffing.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure drivers adhere to safety protocols and driving regulations.
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for safety and reliability.
Address and report accidents or incidents promptly, following company guidelines.
Working Experience: 3 - 5 Years
Education: First Degree
