Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team in the fish feed division. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling fish feed products to fish farmers, aquaculture businesses, and distributors. This role requires excellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the aquaculture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities and potential customers in the fish farming and aquaculture sectors.
Promote and sell fish feed products to existing and prospective clients.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitors.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
Product Knowledge and Promotion:
Gain a deep understanding of the fish feed products, their features, and benefits.
Provide customers with detailed product information, including nutritional benefits and usage.
Organize and conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
Customer Support:
Offer technical support and advice to customers related to fish feed usage and other related products.
Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Sales Reporting and Administration:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and update CRM systems.
Monitor and report on market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
Qualifications:
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Knowledge of aquaculture or related industries is a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience (2+ years) in sales, preferably within the agricultural, animal feed, or aquaculture industries.
Prior experience in fish feed sales or dealing with fish farming customers is a significant advantage.
Working Experience: 3 - 5 Years
