A reputable and fast paced construction supplies and building material production Company seeks the services of an experienced person to oversee and manage its modern warehouse located at Spintex.

  • Direct report: General Manager

    • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
  • Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of construction products.
  • Ensure daily maintenance of factory machinery, tools and equipment.
  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and issuance of construction products.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and overstock, collaborating with the to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Supervise the timely picking and packing of products for the various wholesales.
  • Enforce safety and quality protocols, monitoring storage conditions to maintain product integrity.
  • Ensure the proper handling of damaged products, coordinating with suppliers for resolution as needed.
  • Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff to meet operational goals and maintain high-performance standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring staff adherence to all safety and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records for inventory, shipments, and returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

    Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree

    Requirements
    • Qualification and Skills
    • Degree/HND in Procurement and Supply Chain/ Purchasing and Supply from a recognized institution with at least 3 years’ experience in the Construction/Building industry.
    • Proven knowledge and experience in related field
    • Must be attentive to details
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills
    • Knowledge of warehouse software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Must be proactive and innovative
    • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
