Eduwatch is a sub awardee of the Strengthening Accountability in Ghana's Education System (SAGES) Systems Strengthening Activity being implemented by CARE with support from USAID. The Activity is a five-year program that aims to improve the accountability of the education system in Ghana, with focus on improving the performance of education system actors, improving education management, and increasing citizen engagement. The purpose of the SAGES Systems Strengthening Activity is to improve primary education service delivery through institutionalizing accountability in the Ghanaian primary education system.
Expected Outcomes
Eduwatch is therefore seeking the services of a Project Management Specialist based in Accra to support its implementation of the SAGES Systems Strengthening Activity. The Project Management Specialist will lead and coordinate Eduwatch’s implementation of the SAGES Systems Strengthening Activity.
Responsibilities
Education Required: Master’s Degree
- Experience
- Minimum of 6 to 10 years of management level experience on Donor Funded Projects, preferably in the education sector
- Experience working on USAID Projects is an added advantage
- Experience in multi-level stakeholder engagement.
- Strong planning, coordination and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Qualification
- Master’s level education in Development Studies, Public Policy, Human Resource Development or related field, with at least 5 year post-Master’s experience.
