JOB PURPOSE:
A Reputable Multinational Organisation
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Legal Team, particularly the litigation team in performing tasks diligently.
The role reports to the Litigation Manager.
ROLE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT:
Assists the Transactions Unit with drafting and review of agreements.
Drafts pleadings, motions, witness statements and other court processes.
Draft letters, demand notices and other correspondence.
Collates evidence and conducts research on case law.
Keeps a record of changes in the law.
Attends court to represent the company as a party in court.
Attends hearings at quasi-judicial bodies such as the National Labour Commission (NLC) and the Electronic Telecommunications Tribunal (ETC).
Manages case files in the Litigation Unit.
Manages internal and external correspondence in document files.
Carries out assigned tasks at the Companies’ Registry, Lands Commission and other institutions.
Conducts general legal research for the Legal Department.
PERSON SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Working Experience: 1 - 3 Years

- Holds a Qualifying and Practising Certificate in Law.
