We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account/Finance Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and a proven track record in handling diverse financial tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts  receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • BUDGETING AND FORECASTING:

  • Assist in developing and managing annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and identify potential variances.
  • Provide timely financial analysis and reporting to management.
  • FINANCIAL ANALYSIS:

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management review.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • CASH MANAGEMENT:

  • Oversee cash flow management and optimize working capital.
  • Manage cash disbursements and receipts.
  • Ensure timely bank transfers and payments.
  • TAXATION:

  • Prepare and file tax returns (corporate, income, VAT, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax audits.
  • RISK MANAGEMENT

  • Identify and assess financial risks.
  • Implement internal controls to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor and report on risk exposures

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree

    Requirements
    • Qualifications and Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently
