Monitoring and Evaluation of Pre-Requisite Programs
Assist in conducting regular checks to ensure effective implementation of Pre-Requisite Programs (PRPs) like Cleaning and sanitation, temperature control, pest control, waste management maintenance and employee hygiene.
Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of PRPs in reducing food safety risks and maintain records of compliance.
FIFO (First In, First Out) Monitoring:
Monitor and enforce FIFO practices in inventory management to ensure fresh ingredients and prevent expired items.
Conduct routine checks on stock rotation, particularly in cold storage, to maintain food quality and safety.
Training and Support:
Assist in developing and delivering training programs for staff on quality standards, PRPs, FIFO practices and food safety protocols.
Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure staff understand and adhere to quality and safety requirements.
Monitoring Food Safety and Quality Standards:
Assist in conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company quality standards.
Identify any deviations from food safety protocols and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions with approval from the QA Manager.
Daily Quality Control Checks:
Oversee daily quality control checks on food preparation, handling, and storage, ensuring high standards are consistently met using Daily Record Sheets
Report any non-conformities to QA Manager
Customer Complaints and Feedback:
Assist in tracking and analyzing customer complaints related to food quality and safety.
Collaborate with the QA Manager to address complaints, investigate root causes, and implement preventive measures.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, PRP monitoring, training sessions, and corrective actions.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on quality assurance activities and compliance levels.
Support for HACCP and Regulatory Compliance:
Support the implementation and maintenance of HACCP protocols and other regulatory compliance requirements.
Assist in preparing for external audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food quality, streamline processes, and reduce waste.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality improvement opportunities.
Working Experience: 3 - 5 Years
Education: First Degree
