Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all materials importation (Air and Sea) Logistics and Administration (Exemption applications for import duty payments and import customs documentation processes) for the company.
  • In charge of design and implementation of all operational policies of the company
  • Have oversight responsibility of all air, inland and seafreight operations in the ports of Ghana
  • Coordinates all export forwarding processes through Ghana customs, Governmental Regulatory Agencies in the port, GPHA and other terminal operators for gate opening and gate closure processes for export.
  • Monitoring and Tracking of all shipments/vessels at transit ports and on inland waters and airport for clients such as VIVO Energy, Standard Chartered Bank and Stanbic Bank to name a few.
  • Preparations of weekly and monthly shipping, Logistics and Administrative reports with excel database.
  • Complies with regulations and policies on Environment Heath and Safety (EHS POLICY)
  • Liason with various Governmental organisations, departments (Customs, GIPC, FZB, Project contractors) for permits and exemption letters to ensure compliance of laws, by laws, processes and procedures concerning all Logistics needs of the company in timely manner for Project completion.
  • Ensures the utilisation of cost effective Logistics to enable timely customs clearance and inland transportation services.


    • Education Required: Qualified

    Requirements
    • Must be a fair user of Micrsoft Excell.
