ABOUT THE ROLEThe Retail Sales Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning and running of shop activities as well as following standard operating procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Greeting and assisting customers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
Assisting customers on the phone
Responding promptly to customer inquiries
Monitoring and requesting stock
Balancing cash book
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
Keep proper and accurate records for approved creditors.
Keeping the store and shop floor tidy and clean
Receive and inspect all incoming materials to the store and reconcile with stock request and waybill.
Perform monthly stock taking and reconciling with ERP with supervision from the Operations Manager
Packaging and labeling products before they are dispatched.
Arrange and label products in the storeroom for easy identification and accessibility.
Maintaining ISO documentation and record keeping
Perform any other duties as assigned.
OHSE RESPONSIBILITIESKnowledge of and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures
Follow all safe work procedures, rules, and instructions
Risk Assessment
Hazard identification and reporting
Knowledge on the safe use of all tools and equipment as applicable
Education Required: HND
