Job Summary
The marketing officer is responsible to build the image and profitability of Premier Poultry Limited, in
accordance with company objectives, through planning, budgeting and implementing relevant marketing activities. The Ideal candidate plays a key role to ensure Premier Poultry Limited brand, culture and uniqueness is clearly articulated, communicated, understood and consistent across all activities, clients through brand engagement and promotion activities. Act with authority in order to develop both internal and external relation/s in order to leverage all opportunities in building Premier Poultry Limited brand equity. The post involves extensive national travel.
Key Specific Responsibilities
Education Required: Undergraduate Degree
- Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the relevant sector after undergraduate degree in MARETING AND RELATED FIELD
- Practical experience of brand management campaigns preferably to rural audience
- Experience of success in using different marketing channels to build a brand
- Experience in consumer research and using this to drive the implementation of the brand
- Experience in briefing and working with external suppliers/ advertising agency and stakeholders
- Experience of engaging all stakeholders in change behavior change toward
- marketing communications
- Ability to work within matrix organizations and influence management buyin, decision-making
- Skills
- A good working knowledge on marketing principles, particularly to support the building and promotion of the brand
- Good analytical skills of brands, market research and market trends
- Good knowledge of different media channels for different audiences
- Numerate and able to manage budgets and to analyze financial data
- Demonstrate ability to motivate self and staffs across the organization and secure the co-operation and involvement of key internal and external stake holders
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, confident at responding directly to individual queries
- Competent with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications
