Job offer: Inventory Controller - FMCG

Our client, a fast growing FMCG company is in search of part of a highly organized Inventory Controller to oversee and manage its inventory operations. The Inventory Controller will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient production and distribution processes. You will maintain accurate inventory records, track stock movements, and collaborate with various departments to forecast demand and manage supply. This role is crucial for ensuring the company’s operations run smoothly and that inventory costs are controlled. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate inventory records, including regular stock checks and reconciliations. Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production and customer orders, while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to manage incoming and outgoing stock. Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and adjust stock levels accordingly. Identify discrepancies between physical and system inventory, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions. Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock usage for management review. Implement inventory control procedures and continuously improve processes to optimize stock management. Assist in conducting periodic inventory audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues. Ensure the proper handling, storage, and labeling of inventory items to maintain product quality and traceability.
