The successful candidate shall be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, integrate finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handle tax matters, prepare financial reports, and ensure organizational financial stability.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all accounting, budgeting, financial controls, and costs for the company.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate reporting requirement as per company policy.
  • Ensure consistent application of accounting practices as per local regulations. 
  • Business partnering with function leaders and teams to provide input into development of business strategies and growth plans.
  • Managing the monthly and quarterly financial reporting process, including general ledger and subsidiary ledgers close requirements.
  • Maintain a strong control environment across the key business cycles, including account reconciliations.
  • Ensuring consistent application of tax principles.
  • Provide appropriate resources for internal and external financial and process audits.
  • Coaches and mentors all finance staff; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs.
  • Coordinate departmental budgets and ensure their accuracy before incorporating them into the final budget for corporate approval.
  • Participate in the pricing, negotiation, bargaining, and execution of service contracts.
  • Prepare management accounts, and financial statements and check for the company’s adherence to statutory requirements.
  • Overseeing and preparing income statements.
  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations.
  • Other duties as may apply


    • Education Required: Master’s Degree

    Requirements
    • Master's Degree in Accounting and a member of a professional body preferably ACCA.
    • Proven experience in finance management (minimum 5-8 years)
    • Good communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals, Auditing experience, and Compliance oriented.
    • Proficiency in accounting software.
    • Analytical skills.
