In 2019 we set out on a bold mission to build a market-leading oil and petroleum products company that would serve West Africa’s energy needs. We appreciate the unwavering support of all our stakeholders as we have developed RECL into a foremost performing BIDEC.
RECL was founded in 2015 and subsequently acquired in 2019 by 401K Investment Limited. In 2020, the company commenced active trading operations, and since then, we have progressively increased trade activities year-on-year as dictated by demand.
We kicked off trading activities in earnest in 2020 with crude oil and refined petroleum products including Gasoline and Gasoil. The company’s unmatched quality of service delivery has resulted in growing local demand as well as consistent revenue growth.

demand in 2020 and 2021, we diversified and extended our product lines to include residential fuel oil and premix fuel. As such, RECL now trades five products crude oil, gas oil, gasoline, premix fuel and residential fuel oil.

Our current two-fold strategy is focused on building value and consistently evolving to anticipate and quickly meet the demands of the market.
