Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) - Accra, Ghana

In 2010, KOICA Ghana office officially commenced operations with the mandate to implement the Korean government’s grant aid and technical cooperation programs. KOICA Ghana successfully designed and implemented its 1st Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) from 2011-2015. The Country Partnership Strategy for Ghana provides the overall policy direction of the development assistance of the Korean government. In 2016, the 2nd Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) for Ghana was developed and it spans from 2016-2020. The strategy has four priority cooperation areas namely Agriculture/Rural Development, Public Health, Education and Energy. its own development experiences. Korea aims to allocate 70% of its bilateral ODA for Ghana to the priority cooperation areas under this period. KOICA Ghana Office also works to ensure the promotion of sustainable development, enhancing the local ownership and strengthening partnerships in Ghana, Togo and Benin.
