GEF –‘TOGETHER, YES WE CAN EMPOWER, MOTIVATE & PROTECT YOUTHS’
The Gold Empire Foundation officially constituted in 2009 under the Registrar general department exist primarily to defend and promote youth interests.
To this end, the GEF operates a vision of Empowering, Motivating and Protecting Youths by providing multiple opportunities (teaching seminars, training workshops, counseling and coaching sessions etc.) for self-discovery, appraisal and potential maximization of youths defined in accordance with the African Youth charter (i.e.: 15-35 years).
The overriding MISSION of all GEF interventions (as earlier stated)
The Gold Empire Foundation (GEF) seeks to be amongst major stakeholders noted for influencing and shaping thoughts, attitudes and practices of youths especially within the developing world’s region by 2036. The GEF hence works relentlessly to elucidate the mind while emboldening the Spirit, thereby creating a most critical mutuality between body, soul and spirit; a pre-condition for any meaningful and sustainable change and development.
Against this backdrop, GEF realizing the immense benefits social media affords the vision/ mission, is currently entrenching her impact using both social media and regular media outlets. TODAY newspaper, Ghcampus, Modern Ghana, Facebook, amongst others have greatly contributed in such respect. Currently GEF is in discussions with appropriate stakeholders to start a radio/ TV program which potentially would be amongst the most listened/ watched youth missions programs in the developing world. Together with partners (technical/ financial sponsors), volunteers (students, professionals), and target audience, GEF is forcefully advancing and defying all odds; extending youth support outreach from region to region, community to community, school to school, office to office, room to room etc. daily. Each day brings new opportunities to serve many more youths, thereby making the adventure far more exciting than anticipated. Soon, GEF plans to hold a partnership with notable and reputable educational institutions to run training programs which are GEF Youth Missions tailored.
From what seemed a ‘little dream’ given to a ‘little boy’ who daringly embraced the dream of making other youths lives worth living, the dream has grown to reproduce itself in the lives of all and sundry; from Choggu/ Gurugu in Northern Ghana to farmlands in Gweru town, Zimbabwe.
Are you aware that youths form a colossal part of our world today (and especially in Africa)? Are you a dweller/ related in a way to the 3rd world? What is your dream? Are you passionate about helping make youths fulfilled? Is your dream connected to improving the lot of youths especially in the developing world? Are you ready to be a ‘Goldinniare’ (a young person skillfully offering his talents in service of humanity and sustainable development)?
Let’s get talking.
