Greener Impact International (GII) is a non-governmental, non-profit making organization incorporated under the Companies Code of the Republic of Ghana. Our mission is to contribute to environmental sustainability and ensuring food security on the African continent.

To Greener Impact International’s (GII’s) Children and the Youth are the next generation of the Earth’s natural resources users and environmental stewards in households and communities. They have immense power to determine the future of our planet. They can be catalysts for change, using their power as citizens, consumers, campaigners and change-makers to champion alternative ways of living that ensures better lifestyles to promote Sustainable Development (SD). harmony with nature and to manage and maintain local the local environment for sustainability and regeneration is absolutely vital.

Although the Greener Impact International (GII) is a fairly young organization, we have already done a great deal to ensure Children’s and Youth participation in Sustainable Development (SD) activities at their local levels through environmental training workshops, seminars, symposia and conferences.

The above efforts have dramatically increased children and youth environmental awareness and have become effective agents of change in promoting Sustainable Development (SD).Already most of these children have participated in actions that have contributed significantly in reducing the incidence of deforestation by planting trees through their various club activities in their various communities as well as cleaning up degraded community environments and watershed areas to prevent climate change.
