Along with the enviable distinction of being among the large private Licensed Buying Companies (LBC) in Ghana’s Cocoa sector, we are also the country’s leading cashew exporter and one of its largest importers of rice.In 2012, a new state-of-the-art wheat flour mill was opened in Tema, making Olam one of the country’s leading millers. In addition, Olam Ghana operates a Tomato Paste processing and canning facility and a Biscuit manufacturing facility. The Tomato Paste factory has one of the largest installed capacities in West Africa and is one of the few in world with can-making and canning under one roof. We employ approximately 680 permanent staff across our head office in Accra and regional offices in Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale, Sampa, Ghana is also home to some of our other regional and Africa offices. Through this network, we manage an integrated supply chain that creates value and manages risk for our customers from origination and processing, to logistics, marketing and distribution.
