They stole my brand new iPhone XR
The general post office in Accra central stole my iPhone XR leaving me with the empty box. Don’t use Ghana post especially when sending a valuable item to someone, they’ll end up stealing it and tell you they’ll investigate the matter which will go no where. The people there are thieves. IT WILL NEVER BE WELL WITH GHANA POST ACCRA CENTRAL, CAGE 5.

Beware of them.

General Post Office stole my iPhone XR.
I tracked my package and was told it has arrived at the general post office in Accra cage 5 waiting for me to come pay and then have it. Only for me to get there and be told my package has been tempered with and the brand new IPhone XR stolen. I was told by the okada boys there that this has been the norm, Ghana post steal packages and get away with it all the time with customers coming in everyday to fight them. Please! Avoid using Ghana post, they are thieves and you’ll regret if you don’t avoid them.

STOLEN BOX
There’s is a lot of stealing going on in the Post Office. It’s a shame and dragging the country’s name to the gutters. I sent a box from the U.S. to Ghana containing a lot of stuffs. My tracking number and everything shows that my box is with them but they stole the box and denied having it.
I want everyone to be aware of these guys. They are a bunch of THIEVES. SHAME ON YOU FOR STEALING PEOPLE STUFFS.
GOD WILL PUNISH YOU.

Bloody Theives
Right in my face, I was told by Ghana Post(Accra Central) that they have received my parcel and that they were going to allocate a pick up location for me to collect it. The next day, they came telling me that my parcel has not come, mean while, their system shows that they have actually received the item. This caused some contradiction between the service personnels who want to steal the item and those who had gotten to know of it for the first time. Later, they all concluded it hasn't come. When I gave them the screenshot from their own system which I received from a customer service personnel, one of them told me "it was just the estimated time of arrival" and another said the tracking shows that the bag containing the item came but when they opened it, my parcel wasn't among the items inside. Insisting that my tracking number was not for my specific item but for the bag containing my item along with many other items.. So that when they checked, my item wasn't inside. This is too unbearable to have such a wretched organization to represent a Nation's sector. Fraud at its peak....

The worst most dishonest postal service on earth
I've sent a parcel from Ghana to Somalia the parcel was not even logged on their online so called tracker until 2 weeks later. I've had agents actually go to their office and nobody had any valuable information about anything. They can't tell you how long it will take for your parcel to arrive at it's destination or where your parcel is located. I've been waiting over 1 month and there has been zero change on the status on their online tracker. If you plan to ship with Ghana post do yourself a favor and don't. It's a so sorry excuse for a post service and you'll be lucky if you ever see what you've shipped ever again.

Absolutely right you are!! I have shipped to every continent on the planet and 50 percent of the countries in the world or more but by far even worse than shipping to Siberia Ghana has the most corrupt postal system in the world and when they aren't busy stealing your stuff they are sitting on their butts not delivering parcels!! OMG!!

Abominable, even Treasonous Service
Two weeks on, I cannot trace a parcel I sent off. Item had been traced all the way until it left the UK last week. Now, Ghana post have only stated ‘On Route’ In their website update, but no further information. I have had my agents go off to their offices to try and trace the item but no one is providing any meaningful answers. In this digital age, one would expect to trace an item easily. Not with Ghana post, I presume. Something needs to be done to weed out the lazy fat idiots who run this organisation. One or two long prison sentences for dereliction of duty might just do the trick. Do they even read these numerous negative comments about their service at all? I wonder. Or perhaps the problem may be systemic. In which case, Donald Trump’s advise to wash people’s inside with chemicals might just provide the needed remedy. Wake up, Ghanapost.
