Abusive and only want money
I went there since I was a child and after finally leaving and looking at it from an outside and experiencing a completely different educational system. I realize that this scholl deprives students of creativity and brainwashes them through canes. Which is psycologically proving that enforcing physical pain as a form or fear deos not work at all. These kids are unaware what they are going through these form of abuse as well as been ristricted from their civil laws and free will to chose who want to look like my growing their hair and cutting if they want. In fact it's all raised and baised of patriachy system which men decides what women can wear and dress like. A division of the rich and the poor, abusing other kids for not paying the school bills and failing to understand the a student's curcumstances at home. I was always hit for not wearing the expensive uniform and tayloring my own. The absudity in favoratism in those that follow the such system and the rebellous are casted and caned. In addition class prefects enforces social clases which estblishes division in society. All these system and prestige is not teaching kids about their history and their civil liberties that was fought by our ancestors only to practice all those behavior. Such practices need to change there are always limits to things and the capacity man can take. And I'm glad I left such school to only realize so many things I lacked and the knowledge I was not able to gain. Today I a believer of making man chose, creativity and freedom is what build a democracy nation. I could go on about all the human voilation that they did on the kids and the curroption that went on which by the way I feel bad for the kids that i grew up wth especially my fellow friends like me who had to cut their hair and finger nails and many more. Sometimes I wonder if they are raising an army or brainwashed robots instead of teaching to grow up and face the future aheard of themself when they became adults. When I finish my major in macro economics and phycology I will be coming back to enforce these changes. This school need to replace those uneccesaary teachers with councilers because they arent teaching much about the female body and the paycological truama kids face at home and even in schools. Lastly, it understnading that its a chatolic school but its seems to be more of a cult. God gave people choices which is why we are here of earth. No where in the bible deos the rules they have in the school system say in the bible. If you want to aply your child to such school please reconsider the choice and options and reaserch. I hope my review helps.

I strongly disagree to all this, I just feel it is a display of vocabularies and nothing else. St. Louis Jubilee actually grooms it students for the real world, we are allowed to choose what we want to do like trimming my hair or keeping my hair in braids. I have been out of the school for about 5 years now, and I still believe it is one the best, if not the best schools in Kumasi. Students were never abused for failure to pay their fees, In fact I'm not from a rich home, the school always gave us enough time to make full payment and if my memory serves me right I don't recall a time where there was any form of division between the rich and the poor my school. I don't know when you were in the school, but I bragged in my Shs about how I was never hit in my Jhs and all my friends were just so jealous. Class prefects did no such thing, I mean since when do people choose your friends for you, I'm moved to believe you might have had a low self esteem about yourself and you need a place to put the blame. I beg to differ but Louis Jubilee is definitely not as you have said it to be at all. I don't know what was lacking in my school, Academics was on point, and every other part of a students life was addressed, I mean music and dance, sports, embroidery, creative arts what have you. Creativity and freedom is also at its max. And i'm wondering what is wrong with cutting fingernails, Sweetheart what is wrong with being taught to maintain personal hygiene. The teachers and counselors are of great help and are teaching everything we are supposed to know and everything that is supposed to help us in life. They are very necessary, Excuse me to say but the female body isn't the only thing we are supposed to be taught and there are higher institutions and knowledge based facilities that teach extensively about the human body, I recommend you take a class or two if you are so interested. Babe have you heard about doing what the Romans do when you are in Rome, How about you just do what the Catholics do when you find yourself in a catholic school, I fail to see how the school seems to be more of a cult, when there is freedom of worship, and the catholic masses are even only on Wednesdays. You could have gone to just about any other school, I guess, I wonder why you chose to stay. I would recommend Louis Jubilee to any parent who wants the best for their kids.
Ps when you complete your major in macro economics and psychology, which I presume you have, how about you just stay at home and grow up
Oh and also next time, Please check your spellings, it was a little difficult to read

If there's anything I consider great that happened in my life; I'd say it's St Louis Jubilee School. The memories, the nurturing, socializing with people from all walks of life, the educational seminars, the entertainment and sports activities, the enthusiasm with which I went to the school each and every morning and the students at large gives me the feeling of schooling there again. Throughout my life I'd never found this feeling from my secondary school through to my university education. To be honest with you; i found this claim of yours very baffling and I'm perceiving that you just trying to drag the school's name in the mud.
I remember various programmes were organized by the school to boost the creativity of its students. From Debating to presentations, Music and Dancing, Project works, Artistic drawings ;which were auctioned at the school fair and events, talent showcase and dance competitions, career day and many many more were all included in the school's curriculum activities to bring out the innovative and creative minds of the young ones at such a tender age.
To promote socialization; the school had an exchange program with its sisters St. Louis based in Ireland. This gave students the opportunity to learn different cultures of other people aside the ones they find themselves in.
I can't even recollect the number of times I boasted to my friends of how my school didn't implore the use of canes to inflict any form of physical pain as a punishment. It was a fact and some of my friends found this too good to be true.
To avoid inequality and social differences, the school implored a system that's being used at universities and in top notch industries. The school created uniformity in the dressing code. If you were really in the school as you claim you were to be ; you'd realise from creche right through to the junior high school had the same dressing code which were given out by the school itself. This dressing code earned the applause and acknowledgment of the community it's situated in as the school goes for an outing or a march in the environs of Oduom.
St Louis Jubilee is a family and this is firmly emboded in its slogan;" May we all be one". Contrary to what you were saying I was allowed to choose my own friends. Disclaimer: There has never been and ever will there be a social division in the school as you claim.
The school gave each and everyone ample time to pay their school fees. No student was deprived of any benefit of the school sake of fees. Instead parents who flouted this responsibility were called upon to do so as soon as possible.
The school offers its students freedom of worship in spite of being a Catholic school. Masses and General worship took turns each and every week. I remember a junior of mine who was a Muslim was allowed to pray.
If you'd care to know; students from the noble school can be found in various notable professions and fields to care for society's needs. Students can be found in the field of Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering, Economics, Actuarial Science, Law, Business Administration, Architecture, Social Science, Mathematics and many more.
Check your spellings very well cause it's really difficult reading.
I'd recommend St. Louis Jubilee to any parent who seeks to give their ward a bright future in life.
Honesty can't be feigned. I doubt a SLOJAY(student of St Louis Jubilee) would actually write this piece.
St Louis Jubilee is a family. When actions speak; words are nothing. Anyone who knows St. Louis Jubilee would treat your claim as a big FALLACY
and would treat it as such.

Late reply (I'm writing a book and doing a lot of research about Ghana. Your review is insightful). I also went to St Louis Jubilee School, although I went up to primary school until I was transferred to the U.S to continue my education. Although the school was great, in my perspective, I also remember many flaws in it. I was wondering if you could explain how education is like in Ghana to me because I don't remember anything except for a few memories. Your input is greatly appreciated, I could send you my email if you're interested in helping me out. Thank you!

I also strongly disagree with all that was earlier said about my alma mater. I'm a proud SLOJAY.. And I would never compromise on any other choice if I had the chance to return to a place like that. My only concern is that most of the tutors who gave the school its great name have left the school and I wish the school's administration had done something to keep them.. I have no valid reasons why they left. I only hope and trust that the current tutors are as good as those I had in my time. Being a Jubilee student is one of the best things which ever happened in my life. I can't wait to return with all my honours and make my people proud. I do agree that sometimes the fees are a barrier for some parents but it is really worth it.. Trust me on it. Go ahead and enroll your ward and you won't regret it. STLJ describes high class educational training which is most impactful and very affordable despite its standard. I attended STLJ since nursery and completed there.. I don't regret it at all..
